Commercial rooftop BAPV install with a curved-roof challenge. The mounting structure had to follow the curvature of the existing roof while keeping the modules at the optimal tilt. Video below is a field walkthrough of the completed install.
Scope of work
The Geylang install presented a non-standard challenge: a curved commercial roof where conventional flat-rail mounting wouldn’t work. The mounting structure had to follow the roof curvature while keeping the PV modules at the optimal Singapore tilt for solar yield.
SPAX scope: custom-spec mounting profile, on-site adjustment of the rail layout to match the roof curve, secure attachment without compromising the existing roof membrane, and handover to the EPC for module install. The field video above is the completed install captured from roof level.
