Scope of work
Monfort Secondary School is part of the Ministry of Education’s drive to add solar generation across the school estate. The carport approach delivers two benefits in one structure: covered walkway and parking for the school, plus an elevated PV surface that doesn’t compete with the school grounds or sports facilities.
SPAX scope: structural steel carport columns and roof framing, finish surface and waterproofing prep, then PV mounting on the upper deck. The aerial view shows the canopy line stretching across the school grounds during commissioning, then handed back to the EPC for module install and grid connection.
